Support Fresh & Easy Night

Come on down Laurel Families and Friends.  Fresh & Easy Night will be Friday, December 14th, 2012 from 4-8 p.m.  Come shop and donate your receipts so the school can earn 5% of all sales during that time.  We hope you will be able to support us and don't forget to show your Laurel pride and wear your school spirit tee shirts.  Go Lions!!!!!

Vendor Application

Attention Vendors:

Interested in becoming a vendor for our Holiday Christmas Boutique?  You may download the form from the Laurel School website http://ewcsd.org/schools/laurel  or may pick one up in the school office.  Please get them in right away.  Boutique will be next Thursday, December 20th, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Library Training

Attention Laurel Helping Hands, Come For Library Training:

Our Library Media Clerk will be cut back starting in January.  You may help out and we appreciate any help you can offer.  If you would like to help re-shelf the library books, Mrs. Tomayo is offering a training to show parent/family volunteers what to do.  Here are the dates and times:

December 11th ~ 10:45-11:30
December 17th ~ 11:05-11:30
December 18th ~ 10:45-11:30

Christmas Food Drive

Hello Laurel Families,

Please help support some of our Laurel Families that are going through rough times during the holiday season.  Help by donating canned and dry food the week of 12/10/12-12/15/12.  Here are some suggested items needed:

Boxed Stuffing – Relleno en caja

Canned Gravy - Salsa de pavo enlatado

Boxed Macaroni and Cheese - macarrones con queso en caja

Canned vegetables - verduras enlatadas

Dried beans - frijoles secos

Fruit canned in its own juices – fruta enlatada

Canned soups – sopas enlatada

Canned tuna - atún

Canned chicken – pollo enlatado

100% fruit juices - 100% jugo de frutas

Pasta - pasta

Rice - arroz

Peanut butter – crema de cacahuete

Multigrain and low-sugar cereals - cereal

Granola bars - barras de granola

The students may bring in donations to their classroom or bring them at our last collection at morning drop off Friday, December 14^th, 2012.  There will be a collections station in front of the school.  Show some school spirit and help others in need.  Go lions!!!

Come and enjoy a night filled of Laurel Lion entertainment.  It is a night to remember.

Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 - Annual Jog a thon/Fun Fair!!!!!!!
Ready, Set, Have Fun!!!  Come and support our Lions as they participate in the annual Jog a thon and have blast at the Fun Fair.  There will be loads of fun, vendors, food, games, prizes, music, entertainment, and fun!!!!  Don't miss it!
